This page describes my old "SuperSystem" desktop computer.

I built the SuperSystem in late 2001.  It has a 1.2Ghz AMD Athlon Processor, and 512MB system RAM.  The videocard is a 64MB AGP GeForce3.  The current operating system is Windows XP.  It has had a hard drive with bad sectors, I cloned and rescued, however I am in the process of transferring the computer to a new case, and my dad is going to repair a bad hard drive LED driver circuit.  The computer is out of commission now, should be back up this summer.

I used the SuperSystem for gaming, and other tasks that needed the fast speed.  I also used it if I just wanted fast interface response when sorting files, browsing the Web, etc.  Now, it is going to be a secondary machine, because it has lots of awesome old software on it.  I plan to clone the drive to a virtualbox image, so I can also use the software on my primary laptop.  I plan to put on Ubuntu Linux on the supersystem as well.  I also plan to put on Puppy Linux.
